Life Out of Dead Wood or the Life Cycle of Nature

Do you know how important dead wood for the forests is? Nowadays we normally remove or use dead wood, but seldom let it just stay in the forests. We even pull out dead wood with the roots from the soil and remove it completely. But it is a very important habitat for hundreds of birds, insects, fungi, plants and so on. It’s an important part of the nature’s life cycle. It gives the soil the needed nutrition. Nature is such a genius. It uses completely even the dead material and never lets something just stays around. We have to understand that in order to create a sustainable world, we have to use everything completely as well and not create any waste.

Here there are some nice pictures from dead wood which seem so alive and beautiful, because they die but only to give space and nutrition for a new life.
